Movere's December release has landed! This release updates to the latest Movere Console build version 126.96.36.199. This release addresses a bug that required users to uninstall the previous version before manually installing the latest Console. With this release, the refresh token will always be injected directly in the Bot4/Arc2/Arc4 config files, removing any need to manually uninstall and re-install the Console.
Movere’s auto-upgrade service will automatically update existing Consoles to the latest build without any need to uninstall. Automatic updating will occur only once existing scans are completed, and there will be no impact to current Console configurations
This release includes small fixes to address the following bugs:
- Issues when uploading payloads for Windows 2003/2008 servers that are scanned with the noconsole flag.
- Rare TLS errors when scanning legacy systems.
Additionally, this release also adds support for 3rd party deployment of Movere Linux Bots (in preview), and more verbose error logging when installing the Console. Specifically, error messages when attempting to install with no internet access will prompt a check that https://geo.movere.io/ip can be accessed and will open a browser directly to the URL.
Finally, (and not part of this release), Movere Support has moved! As of 12/16/2019, all new support requests will be initiated through the Microsoft Movere Support Portal, rather than contacting Movere support via e-mail. The portal includes a streamlined ticketing form, including links to useful support articles for quick self-service. You can read more about this transition here and can access the Microsoft Movere Support Portal here.
