At Movere we constantly strive to build the most robust and secure platform. This latest release was a large step forward in updating Movere and allowing us to process your data even faster and even more securely.
Now that the updates are live, there are a few things you must do before you resume scanning:
First: If you haven't already, please ensure you are running the latest version of the Movere console, version 220.127.116.11. You can check the version by opening the console and looking at the version number in the lower-left corner:
If you are currently running an older version, please log in to Movere, click on your tenant in the Stats tab, and select Console from the Downloads button in the top-right corner:
NOTE: if you are downloading a new console, you will need to reset scan configurations and re-enter any credentials.
Second: As part of our security updates, all previous token.txt files are no longer valid. Before resuming scanning, please ensure you have downloaded a new token file. To download a new token, open the Movere Console and navigate to the Upload to Cloud tab. Select Yes to automatically upload scans, enter the correct credentials, and choose Authenticate to download:
Third: With our move to containers and our addition of Movere instances in Azure East Canada and East Australia, there are new URLs and IP Addresses for security whitelisting. You will find a detailed list of all URLs and IPs, per regions, here.
