Movere will be undergoing major infrastructure updates that pave the way for new features, faster release cycles, better security, and improved user experience. Most of the work should not affect users accessing the site, however we are scheduling a window of time during which scans may be affected.
What you must do:
- Older versions of the Movere console WILL NOT WORK starting November 5th, including all support for SSL versions older than TLS 1.2.
- Any inventory and ARC data uploaded during the maintenance window (between Saturday, November 3rd and Sunday, November 4th) will NOT BE saved. Scans must be restarted on Monday, November 5th using the latest version of the console.
- All current token.txt files will expire by Monday, November 5. A new token file must be downloaded in order to resume scanning.
The latest console (version 22.214.171.124), is configured to interact optimally with the upcoming infrastructure updates. Older versions of the console WILL NOT WORK starting November 5th, including all support for SSL versions older than TLS 1.2. This means that previous versions of the Movere Inventory and ARC Bots will NOT upload directly to cloud starting Monday, November 5th. If you encounter one of the following error messages, please download the latest version of the Movere console and start a new scan:
The requested security protocol is not supported or The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a send.
Before November 2nd, please ensure you download the latest version of the Movere console. To do this, access your Movere tenant via the Stats tab and select Console from the Downloads button in the top-right corner:
Scanning will be affected Saturday, November 3rd and Sunday, November 4th. Scans will not be processed on those days. Movere will be ready to process scans again on Monday November 5th. Before resuming scans, ensure that you have downloaded a new token.txt file. To download a new token, open the Movere Console and navigate to the Upload to Cloud tab. Select Yes to automatically upload scans, enter the correct credentials, and choose Authenticate to download:
