This week’s release is a repair to Geo-Tagging and a new version of the Movere Console (version 188.8.131.52), with bug fixes, and a few new tricks.
Geographic Tagging is Back
Movere’s Geographic tagging is back allowing you to visualize where your devices are located throughout the world. This data is collected as part of standard Movere scans, from both Windows and Linux devices that have internet connectivity and by simply navigating to Summary\Geography\Geo-tagging, you will get a view similar to the one below. The Map is completely interactive as well. Try hovering over any of the dots, clicking on the map, or selecting the lasso tool and drawing a circle around a set of dots:
Native Scanning for VCSA, ESXi and Xen
Complete data collection is crucial and Movere improves upon our current system allowing customers to target VCSA, ESXi and Xen servers natively using our intelligent bots. Simply target the servers hosting these technologies as you would any other Linux device. Our bots, with proper access, will run on that server and gather the data, encrypt it, and securely transfer it to the Movere cloud. Now with multiple ways to target these technologies, Movere continues to lead the market in data acquisition.
Support for VMware’s vCenter 6.7
Movere now supports the latest version 6.7 of vCenter. This version is supported both on VCSA (Linux) and Windows based installs.
In addition to the above new features, we have addressed numerous other bug fixes and security improvements to the latest Movere Console (version 184.108.40.206). Simply download the console from within Movere and get scanning!
