Would you like to automatically upload scans to the cloud?
If you wish to upload data to the cloud automatically then you will need to enter the username and password provided to access the Movere website. The credentials entered will be stored locally in a file called ‘token.txt’, which is fully encrypted. If you delete this file, you will need to re-authenticate using your Movere web credentials.
NOTE: You can turn the automatic upload option on and off as desired. If you do not delete the ‘token.txt’ file, then you can turn automatic upload back on without having to re-enter your Movere credentials.
What are the benefits of using the automatic upload feature?
The primary benefit is the ability to run unattended scans – start a scan and walk away. Once the scan concludes, the results will be processed and presented through the Movere website within minutes. A secondary benefit is being able to scan an environment without having to change firewall or port settings. If the device being scanned is unable to return its output file to the device the Movere Service is being run from, then it is authorized to send its output directly to the cloud.
How can I tell if my authentication token has expired?
Once the token file has been downloaded, the Movere Console will update to display the date the current authentication token will expire. In case the token is nearing expiration, you can click on the progress bar and re-authenticate by using your username and password.
